With a slight concern in Brady’s interest in the NFL and his immediate success we all know other schools and NFL programs are interested.

But seeing these recent big time elite offensive players commit to LSU tells me a lot. Brady must be recruiting hard and telling these kids he’s at LSU to stay. I believe that Woodward has already begun negotiating with Brady’s agent and he realizes what’s in his future and I’m thinking we may try to lock him down for 8 years or so with at least 3-4x more than what he’s currently making with plenty of incentives!

The future looks bright for the LSU offense....

8 years may be a bit overly optimistic. I think 5 or 6 would be the longest contract he would want to sign

Why wouldn’t you lock him down that long? Is there somebody else out there better? He’s only 33 years old

More money possibly in longer contract? Just guessing I guess I’m being too optimistic. Jimbo signed for 10 so......

Which he will. I would. I could never imagine having to recruit. I would much rather just be able to pay the guys I want. No recruiting, no bull crap, and more money.

Bama "insider" starting baseless rumors is all this is. They're getting nervous.

Sad thing is, our chicken little fanbase is going to run with it like it's fact and give it legs.

I've heard that all of the changes to Ed O's coaching staff for next season have already been decided upon and finalized. I've also heard that AD Scott Woodard wasn't afraid to ensure that Ed O always has the best coaching staff in college football.

Hence, that means Joe Brady isn't going anywhere.

Brady needs to show he can be productive for 2/3 years and with a different QB before it comes to these discussions.

Uhm...he is 30. I wouldn't be surprised to see him eventually succeed Steve Ensminger at OC in a few more years when Ensminger decides to retire but also succeed Ed O when he retires in about 7 more years when he will be 65. Which would put Brady at about 37 years of age.

A desperate P5 program could offer him a HC gig after a year or two as our OC. There are certainly other programs who could take him.

Make him the OC next year and the HC the following year. O can go back to line duty and recruiting coordinator.
