Next coach(es) need to take a hard look at attrition of long distance signees. I may be emotional and talking out my arse, but long distance kids esp. CA ones don’t seem to workout. We really should be able to make up entire roster much closer.

Not all transfers are created equal. LSU typically gets guys who were overlooked and ended up in bad situations from a team perspective, but played well enough to draw attention from a school like LSU.
With Ricks, he's already at a top tier program, and he's a starter. He's got everything in front of him that he needs. But he wants to leave because we're firing the coach who is holding us back?

Like most good things- the portal is being used for the wrong reasons…kids leaving one sch due to drug/grades/losing, to join another team …coaches at winning programs cherry picking kids to plug into theirs for one season

There was speculation coming from everywhere, but there always is. Which is why I tried not to read into it. I seem to remember his mom getting mad about something, but I really can't remember any specifics. There's so much noise around this team.
