It seemed like Auburn took advantage of a lot of the elevated breaking balls that were thrown yesterday.

Throwing a breaking ball needs a good grip to spin it fast enough. I have a feeling the rain got to Anderson and Yeskie was still calling for a lot of those pitches.

I'm also wondering why we didn't try to stall the game at all while the rain was coming down

If the left fielder doesn't miss play the fly ball it is a different game.

Dutton was dealing. I think our guys were a bit uptight over his newly developed breaking ball.

To Auburn’s credit, they were living off soft contact on Anderson. It was definitely planned that way to try and minimize Ks. The ball just fell in the right spot on a lot of soft contact hits. They won’t make a living that way, but it worked last night.
