Moffitt needs to kick the entire line in the a-- this offseason. Make that the entire team.
Freak and Ego et al need more strength and conditioning.

Example: the difference in $ from the last pick of the first round compared to the last pick of the third round was $4mill
last year. There is the risk of injury; do you roll the dice?

PnG glasses off, neither has shown nfl readiness this year. They been very poor at disengaging a block and have lost the one on one battles on the reg.

I agree fully on Anthony "Fluff" Johnson.

Ego has established himself often. He is no Bennie Logan, but he is the only DT that has made any noise this season.

If healthy can't blame them if they go.
Both would benefit from coming back especially Johnson. Ferguson would probably go higher at this point but both would be lucky to get in 2nd round

As much as we want these great players to come back year after year we have to remember they are 20 year old kids that are looking at multi million dollar checks every year.

just because you get drafted, doesn't mean you get million dollar checks. YOU HAVE TO MAKE A TEAM. At this point, I'm not convinced either can make a n.f.l. team.

I dont think any underclassman should leave, but with that being said if we only could lose 3 that would be huge.
Any combonation of 3 would be ok.

Freak and Ego both need another year and a summer of hand training.....the don't use their hands at all and allow OL to maintain far too much leverage by notshedding and seperating.

he is nowhere near what Logan did last year.

Ego 2013 (thru 11 games): 50 tackles (17 solo), 3.5 tfl, 1 sack

Logan 2012 (13 games): 45 tackles (15 solo), 5.5 tfl, 2 sacks

now granted, I think Logan was a better prospect and was better at getting into the backfield (and he had 2 yrs of good production), but Ego gets entirely too much flack IMO.

NO ONE LIKES GOING TO AN 8 a.m. MATH or SCIENCE CLASS

I really can't believe some of you people do not get this. Their plan is to play football. They are gone. It doesn't matter to them if they are not ready.

No offense to the stat look up, but Logan was a more dominating DT. To show you some stats, his sophomore year (as a backup)

14 games played -- 57 tackles (22 solo) 6.5 TFL, 3 sacks, 1 PD, 1 FF, 1 blocked kick

other than injury the other risk is: what if they do not improve? what if they stay and become 2-3 yr starters and have another lackluster season? what was a first round pick is now a 2-4 and after that could become even worse jus saying
and on a "team" note: are these good "locker room" guys? they are def not leaders thats fo sho but i remember a few times hearing that they can have bad attitudes and what not. i don't know but another wrinkle in the decision is the placement/usage of beckwith will prob be impacted on who's left on the line at the start of 14

What happened to Hill Sat.? Is he so ready for the NFL when 2 others run better than he does. He sits the bench 2/3rds of the game. That's not NFL ready. I love LSU.

not his choice

my unrealistic hope is that the current juniors see what the mass exodus did to the team this year and will come back unless they get a crazy high grade.

unrealistic i know but still

IMO if freak comes back he needs to regain some of that weight he lost. He gets flushed out of plays too easily.

Both of those guys need to have a stellar offseason in the weight room.

They'd be much better next year because they can be relieved more with our depth. Our line has been dominant for years mostly due to unreal depth.

That said, I bet they both go. Freak has a kid as well right?
