Is there any word in regards to Ed's lack of playing time at the corner position? Love this kid and thought we'd see more of him against a terrible Auburn team. Saw Donte' Jackson get some reps. Also notice Russell Gage no where to be found either. Any updates on if Ed or Gage are traveling to Syracuse?

I feel that Ed is more of the Tharold Simon type, gonna play corner on the outside and not in the nickel. He did not win the competition with KT II so barring an injury, he probably won't see significant playing time until Tre leaves for the NFL.

I really don't know what to think of Paris being passed up by two freshmen, KT2 and Jackson. Granted, those two are gonna be lights out players so it may just speak to their ability rather than Paris' lack of...
We all suspected hed be better suited at safety, but he was persistent on being a CB I remember. Maybe this will change his mind and allow him to get on the field. He was one of my favorite recruits when he came in. Still holding out hope for him

I've seen him play on special teams; but that's it. I guess that is a chance you take when you come to a program like this. Just thought Ed would get more PT.

Ron Brooks comes to mind when thinking about Ed Paris. Good young man and I wish him great success.

I've been wondering the same thing.I understand MiLes and his want to play freshman but you would think in a big game he'd be in over jackson. Thomas hasn't looked great either; no push for that nickle spot? It would definitely add some size.

Well y'all aren't watching the football game because Paris probably got 12-20 snaps

Some guys have all the athleticism you dream about, but they just don't have good football instincts. The DBs getting playing time for LSU so far this season all seem to have good football instincts to go with more than adequate athleticism. It is likely that Paris does not have football instincts as good as those getting playing time because his athleticism is more than adequate. His inability to get on the field should be viewed as a testament to the quality of LSU's recruiting rather than a criticism of Paris.

Besides special teams? I didn't see him on defence. I can re watch the 4th quarter for a 3rd time though.

There's several players who could be playing their last year. He plays a major role at safety or nickel next year.

Toliver is a stud and Paris was getting beat over the top a lot in practice.

You are on the money. It's hard to believe that an NFL player in his 4th season had only
THREE starts at LSU. 4th season in NFL vs 3 college starts. Cray. Paris just needs to stay patient and work on his game.

Rickey Jefferson out there killing it in place of Mills adds more fuel to DBU.

You ever see his high school film?! Guy had boat loads of INTs, mostly from using his instincts and reading the play before it happened...
