Not as an iterim. This looks at times when the vision and direction of the program was his.

With apologizies to Speedy:

14-27 — CEO’s record as a full time head coach

3-22 —CEO’s SEC record

13-15 CEO’s record against unranked teams in regular season

10-5 —CEO’S regular season record against nonconference teams

7–16 CEO’s record after a loss

1-0 — CEO’s bowl record

2-1 CEO’s record as LSU coach in Tiger Stadium night games

0-12 CEO’s record against ranked teams

1-1 — CEO’s record as LSU head coach way from Tiger Stadium

3-6 CEO’s record in Nov. (wins over NW State (twice) and Moo State )

When has a Ed Orgeron coached team gone bowling.

I hope you are not considering the Louisville win. That was after a season in Miles had laid down the battle plan, hired the coaches and recruited the players.

I did consider the Louisville win because he was a full time coach by then. It was a toss up on using it or not. I think the rest though shows why the powers that be should have known that O would never take a team to a bowl, much less a championship.

I also don't think the bow win should count. While he may have been the permanent head coach, that was most certainly not his team. The players and coaches were from Les Miles.

This post is like the Titanic and the Lusitania arguing about which is more sunk.

Everyone here (and when he was hired as HFBC @ LSU) remembers how abysmal CEO's record was at Ole Miss.

If LSU were so-far undefeated this year, CEO's historical record would still look terrible.

I'm not a CEO fan but mercy, this post is a reach.

It's astonishing that he was hired. There is nothing on his resume that justifies him being the HC at LSU. This hire was so bad that you would think it was done intentionally to cripple the program.
