Actually, when Bo Pelini was hired not only did the former Bo Pelini players praise the hire but virtually all LSU fans also praised the hire. Including dumb hypocrites exactly like you and everyone else who now goes way out of their way to vilify and demonize Ed O every chance they get because Ed O had the audacity to hire Bo Pelini. Indeed, everyone and their brother thought it was a fabulous hire at the time, but today it has matriculated into a weapon of mass destruction employed constantly to attack Ed O.

Nonetheless, it didn't really make any difference whatsoever who Ed O hired to be his 4 - 3 defensive coordinator last year. As they all would have miserably failed no matter what due to the unforeseen circumstances.

I mean, how were they supposed to do their job with no spring practice, no summer workouts and player run practices and only an abbreviated fall camp? Not to mention that they could only teach and coach via zoom with no practice reps. Meanwhile, on top of that, virtually the entire team were brand new first time starters who had never played in a 4 - 3 defense.

So how was the piss poor defense last year Bo Pelini or Ed O's fault? Did they have a crystal ball to predict the Covid Pandemic? You think Bo Pelini would have accepted the DC job at LSU had he known beforehand what was about to transpire?

Furthermore, when Ed O made that now infamous statement, made infamous by dedicated Ed O haters and Tom Herman lovers regarding the new defense being better than the 2019 defense, he said it because he believed it at the time.

Indeed, as Ed O is a big fan of the 4 - 3 defense and everyone knows he is because he says it all the time. So, of course, Ed O thought the new defense would be better than the previous 3 - 4 2019 defense at the time he made that statement.

However, when Ed O made that statement on the first day of spring practice, how was he supposed to know that not only would the rest of spring practice subsequently be cancelled but that there would also be no summer workouts and player run practices, that fall camp would be abbreviated, and that all the coaching and teaching would have to be done via Zoom without any practice reps? I mean, Ed O didn't have a magic crystal ball! He didn't know because no one knew what was about to transpire. Yet, all you dedicated Ed O haters and Tom Herman lovers and who all praised the Bo Pelini hire at the time, today all crucify Ed O every opportunity you moronic hypocrites get completely out of context relative to reality ad nauseam.
