An #LSU official has told me that reports of Ed Ingram’s reinstatement and charges being dropped are premature. Nothing is official.

With the trial looming just 7 days away, I thought this announcement looked odd.

Oh, and one of the worst things a person can to do another person is to bear false witness against them.

Is that really the “worst thing a person can do to another person”? So it’s not rape, torture, kill, etc? No, it’s tell lies about a person that’s “the worst”.

Look, it’s shitty to do, but have a littler perspective.

Is he a better guard than our current two starters?

It's funny that people think that a player that hasn't practiced with his team in a year can play in a game as soon as he's reinstated. I would imagine he would need at least a week of practice before being able to enter a game at all and several weeks of practice before playing meaningful minutes.

I mean, depending on how hard he’s been working out and conditioning, he shouldn’t be too far behind the rest of the team. It’s not like they’re in “game shape” yet. I think the biggest hurdle will be learning the new playbook, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they have been keeping him up-to-date with everything under the table. In short, I don’t think he will be as far behind as some are suggesting.

Just means they agreed to drop the charges, but still has to sign off on everything to make it official. Shouldn't be anything to worry about at this point other than what kind of shape is Ed in and how fast can he pick up the new offense, he may be back next week, 2 weeks at the latest...

He's an instant LG starter as soon as he gets comfortable in the new offense and is in game shape. The question is how long will that take. Best case scenario? Sometime for the SEC schedule, worst case, bowl game perhaps.

People need to remember this wasn't like Fultons suspension. Fulton practiced with the team and took part in team activities, Ingram was literally away from the program for over a year, hasnt taken 1 practice snap in the new offense.

LSU literally came out officially and said nothing has changed officially yet, hes not even back on the team right now still. He wont take snaps in games for weeks even if hes back next week, gotta get way back up to speed. The guy hasn't practiced or been with the team for over a year. He literally hasn't had 1 session practicing the new offense.
