After watching our bowl game and the Troy debacle and then watching what Bama does in a bowl game the year after losing 10 players to the draft. I do understand why people feel hopeless. However, I also appreciate the original posters take. We are LSU. We do have a lot of great things going for this program. Great Defense. Number 1 WR in Country coming and another great class coming in. The 2019 class looks even better. I am hoping Ems at OC will be a huge success and prove us all wrong. I def cannot pull for failure. We manhandled Bama this year for the first time in forever. We arent that far away. Give this poster a break. We arent entitled to greatness we have to go earn it.

Jamar Chase may be better than Marshal. Most camps said he Chase out performed Marshal. And it looks like we both of them. Add Surtain, Joseph, and Goodrich and it a good classe. Next years class of potential recruits looks phenomenal for us. Loaded at Defensive Line - Sophsher. Offensive line Kardell. Cornerback. All signs point to a top 5 class.

Well we did out play Bama in the trenches. We had more yards and first downs than them for the first time in a very long time. Just saying...
I am aware that we lost by 14, as I am sure KevG is too...He seems like a well informed dude. A grown up. He probably has a job.

We did beat Bama in the trenches for the first time in like 10 years. IF we had a QB that could make plays we would have won this year. It wasnt the play calling, guys were open. Guys dropped balls. I would also like to see better special teams coach. Special teams cost us majorly in Bama game and in our bowl game.

You are such a whiney bitch lol. I didnt say i was happy to lose to Bama. Im saying for first time we didnt get manhandled by them. You are like a liberal that cant see one good thing Trump does because he tweeted something bad or something you didnt agree with. Get your head out of your arse. We were in every game this year. We have no basis to believe that we wont be in every game next year.

These crybabies are exhausting me. Give coach O another year. The guy just has one full year under his belt. Remember Leslie Miles ? He went 15-11 in the SEC his last three years ? PRETTY PATHETIC !!!!!!! I'll take coach O over Leslie any day of the week. Miles was stubborn, predictable, and LIED to the fan base. He said the offense would change after horrible years. So i spent the money to go to Green Bay and it was the same ole same ole. I used to like Les Miles, now I despise him more than ever. HELL, I don't even give him credit winning the NC with TWO LOSSES !

I will say that the schedule looks pretty brutal next year regardless.

You don’t give him credit for winning a championship but you give O credit for...actually what is it you give credit for that you don’t give Miles? Believe me I was all for firing Miles, but there has been no improvement to this team since he left. I’ll give it another year before I start calling for anyone’s head, but are you really convinced this team is on the up and up to being on the level of a 2007 or 2011 Miles-coached team?

Last I checked, we play the same 8 in conference games EVERY year
The 4 non conference games are always mediocre

We dropped BYU and added Miami
We dropped UT and added UGA
2 wins just turned into a toss up and a loss.
