I think it's a tough arse question that can't really be well answered at least until after this season. I'm not going to overreact based on one game, but if he can't get the players prepared and he lets Johnny Doucheball come into TS and put up 50 on us, I'll probably want him out.
Sometimes, things have to get worse before they get better. You know, like an alcoholic or drug addict having to hit rock bottom before they seek help. For the LONG TERM success of LSU football, SHORT TERM sacrifices (game defeats) must be made, no matter how painful they are at the time. All the LSU Fams and Alums that don't have their heads buried in the sand know exactly what I'm talking about.

No, I want Miles to remain many more years. Our defense is the weak link this year. Where is our defense this year? You can see them on Sunday in the NFL. Experience is what this defense needs. Chavis hasn't changed his methods. These puppies just needs to mature. Talk of coaching changes will only dissuade further recruits.

NO. Don't be retarded. Saying you want him gone is a retarded question. First, who is out there to replace him? Saban is not coming. Meyer is not coming. I don't know of any hot young assistant coaches out there. Jon Gruden is not coming. Bill Cowher is not coming.

Do you want to hire Pat Narduzzi from Michigan State? He's about the hottest assistant coach out there.

Miles has been to two BCS championship games and won one. He has a record of 85-21 entering this season and he is 7-3 this year.

Anyone who wants Les Miles gone is retarded.

Not an easy question at all. As someone eles posted, I wouldn't mind if he walked on his own, but I wouldn't fire him ... yet. I would make him hire a dominant OL coach (this year's line was supposed to be the best ever ... hasn't happened and there really haven't been any injuries). Something also needs to be done on the Defensive side, but not sure what at this point.

100% yes, like a pecan.

LSU can get do better for the money. I wouldn't let Miles coach for free.

I WANT THESE SAME THREADS WITH DIFFERENT TITLES TO STOP.

Everyone thinks we only lose Miles---Miles goes practically the entire staff goes as goes our inroads to recruiting.

No I don't but if his teams continue to 'quit' or not give full effort and we go into games unprepared (as he said regarding Ole Miss) then we need to part ways.

Look at what Freeze is doing at Ole Miss. Those kids never quit and they play 4 quarters regardless. I want a coach that can have his team prepared in that way.

Well, I'd hate to go through the process of trying out 1, 2 or 3 bad coaches before finding one that can get us back to where we've been during the Miles years, so I'll say no.

I do worry about him getting a little burnt out though.

It's about value. He's not worth 4.5 or whatever. So, yes gone.
