Will be the second best WR group LSU will play besides Bama. They're very good.

I wish we played a real team in week 1.

I know we can hide our offense from TX, but I hate cupcake games

I respectfullly disagree.

Ordinarily, cupcake games are one of, if not THE thing, i hate most about college football.. except when it comes to very early in the season.. I hate when we come right outta the box against a decent to good team, without a warmup game to get ready.. sometimes it works out ok, like last year vs Miami, or previous Dallas opening games I’ve attended like TCU and Oregon.. but sometimes it doesnt.. see Badgers, Wisconsin.

Meh they have a pretty solid QB who can run and pass. He had a rough start to the year but improved a lot.

Oh i totally agree. My point was no cupcakes. Why not a mid-level team like a good group of 5 team or a mid-level P5 team.

I hate the big week 1 games too. Teams should be challenged but not given a pass or a hard test straight away.

They lost most of their D and one of the 2 top receivers foolishly left early and didn’t get drafted. Bru McCoy is the 5 star WR who committed to usc and then defected to UT - his status this year is up in the air as ncaa reviews case. On paper it looks like we win easy but college sports esp on the road can be unpredictable. I thought we would blow their baseball team out so this time I will remain quietly confident here in Austin

Over 30 points scored on LSU's defense in 2019??

Yeah ok, good luck with that.

Collin Johnson is still back along with Duvernay and as you said McCoy.

Lost their entire defense though. Read today they are in the bottom 10 of all FBS in returning production. Most of that is on the defense and front 7. It's a perfect matchup for LSU imo

Prediction:

Tom Herman kisses his players.
Ed Orgeron chugs a Red Bull and rips his shirt off.

LSU trounces Texas.

According to “Old” Texas is the most dominant program in the history of football so we need to be worried
