Leave early to be a second or third round pick?
That allows them to get to their second contract a year faster than if they were a 1st round pick. If they prove themselves in the league then they are able to cash in quicker.

Just food for thought, not as cut and dry as it used to be with the slotted money now for players in the draft.

Thad will stay I believe. He doesn't have crazy mind blowing stats and just going off one year for scouts to see. He has the most catches from a tight end the best stat I can think of and really good blocker

You think Devin Whites turn into Devin Whites by staying in school one more year? Bad comparison, especially when you consider that he left early.

My point is he improved dramatically from Soph to junior year in my opinion. I don't think anyone was saying he would win the Butkus award after his soph year. That one more year can take you from a mid 2nd round pick to a 1st round pick.

Chaisson needs 1 more year. He’s been good this year but, I don’t think he’s reached his full potential yet. He would be drafted if he went in this year, but not first round. If he comes back and stays healthy, he will be one of the best pass rushers in the country next year and be drafted top 10 in the first round.

Possible Early Entries:
1. Justin Jefferson
2. Jacoby Stevens
3. Jacob Phillips
4. Patrick Queen
5. Lloyd Cushenberry
6. Thad Moss

^Just get a couple of these to stay, add that to Chase, Marshall, Stingley, Ty Davis-Price, Marcel Brooks, Damone Clark, Apu Ika, Flott, Ward, Baskerville and we'll have a good core of experience returning.

uh what?

DW led the SEC in tackles and was the DPOTW 4x his sophmore year

He would have been a top 10 pick if he came out his sophmore year

Jefferson has proved everything and I don't see him coming back with Burrow leaving. Jacob Phillips has produced well in 2 years and I don't see anything he could do to make him a top 5 pick like devin white lol. If we win the natty he could be gone. Stevens could be gone with such a great year and they win the natty.

Well we aren't fixing to have 20 guys drafted in the NFL. It is to the point now where if a player has a decent to good year, so many of you say go get that money mane.

Never said 20 guys were getting drafted lol. I mentioned 3 that would probably leave based on production and winning the title.
