Clemson is obviously a must-win. Up to this point, it's the most consequential game of BK's tenure here.

Florida and A&M are so tough to play on the road, so it is a huge plus we get them at home this year. BK has a good track record in TS, and I think we keep taking advantage of that next year.

OU and Ole Miss are going to be tough but winnable games. Never been to Oklahoma, but Ole Miss's crowd noise is nothing compared to most of the other schools in the SEC. Vandy is essentially a mini home game for a lot of schools if any of you have ever been to a game there.

As of now, I like us to take all 7 of our home games, and Vandy on the road for sure. Just got to find at least 2 more wins in between Clemson, Bama, OU and Ole Miss, and we definitely have a decent shot at the playoffs.

Now, just have to piece everything together. Excited to see who we get in the portal now that Nuss is returning too.

There’s really no way of having an actual take on games that you think we win or lose until the portal closes. We don’t know who half the starters will be for any of these teams.

Ah yes, I see that the proverbial 10-2 preseason predictions have begun.

I think if we beat Clemson to start the season, we go on to steamroll everyone else.

We lose to Clemson and we get the same lackluster results we've seen the last few years.

Beating Clemson would be the spark this team needs. We have to remember these are kids and we are adults - our mindsets are different and we are able to block out distractions when we commit to something in everyday life but college kids aren't able to do that for the most part. That early momentum boost would be huge for this team.

Agreed, but speculation is always fun and that's why it was a relatively vague post solely based on home/away games and Nuss coming back.

He will be the best quarterback in the conference heading into next season.

I like our chances in all 7 games at home because it's Tiger Stadium and that is a huge advantage for us.

Historically, it's also more of an advantage for us to be playing Bama on the road oddly enough.

I think we end up getting a few more studs in the portal with Nuss's announcement, maybe Daniels ends up staying, etc.

No back to back road SEC games is a huge plus!

Clemson is going to be a super tough game. They have every bit of an SEC environment, and will have a veteran, mobile QB returning and some good defensive pieces.

If Emory stays on the Oline, that gives potentially 3 returning starters along with Chester and Mubenga. Bordelon and the other tackle whose name is escaping me will be 4th year juniors, or one of the young pups will have to grow up quickly.

We will be fine at WR and RB at the end of the day. How will the line stack up, and can we keep their QB from extending drives with the run.

The thought did occur to me that I have picked them to go 10-2 every year since I have been a fan

I do like how our schedule shaped up. It all comes down to the players and coaches next year to get it done.

I honestly could see a world where we lose to both Clemson and Ole Miss and go 3-2 in September, but win out and are 10-2 going into the SEC Championship. Bama took a big step down this year and I think they will again in 2025 while LSU takes a step up in talent.

Going 4-1 in September would be a win in my opinion. @ Clemson and @ Ole Miss is a pretty brutal start. October sets up well with the toughest games being at home, so 7-1 going into November should set us up for a playoff run even with a loss to Alabama.

I think the Bama demise is over-exaggerated. Maybe they don't win 10 games every season, but they are still hauling in top 3 classes and obviously had the talent to beat UGA this year. Deboer isn't great, but there are a ton of lackluster coaches in the SEC right now so that really isn't a handicap unless they're playing UGA.

Unfortunately there is so much gap to overcome on the defensive side of things, there will be at least 1-2 games dropped to teams that shouldn't beat LSU. Could be Oklahoma, could be Ole Miss. I'm going to go with 9-3. That being said, we've seen this year that 9-3 may get in the playoffs. With the schedules being the same, I'm going to pencil in UT and UGA for the SECCG so that avoid a potential fourth loss. The committee always makes stuff up as they go, so I don't buy that every year the loser of the conference CG won't be penalized.
