Anyone else kind of downplay him reaching base 12 out of 14 at bats in the regional? That is absurd.

Just kinda seems like par for the course for that guy now. He’s so good that that ridiculous stat is just kinda ho hum for him. It’s amazing.

Didn’t know he was projected to be a first rounder out of high school. Did I hear that correctly? That is crazy.

He told them if he wasn’t going in first round, he’s going to school. Projections had him at early 2nd round so he pulled a Bregman and told them he’s out of the draft and going to school

Yep. Passed it all up to play at LSU and for PM. He said he also wanted to improve his game and then go pro in 2023. Pretty awesome.

Joey Gallo signed a letter of intent with LSU, but then decided to take $2.25 million in first round money. Getting Crews helps make up for that one.
