Just watched a postgame interview he (godwin) did the other day. He seems to be honest with the media and doesnt mince his words. Also, he started it saying he “didnt care about the weather, doesnt wanna talk about the weather, before the media even asks me”
So that would be a welcome change from PM by some of our fans

I think most undervalue Godwin, simply because he's been at ECU. He would be GREAT here.

I think he requires a very good pitching coach too. So i think he could be good, but i have some concerns

He’s young, proven as a recruiter, and still hungry for more success. He’s one of those guys I was talking about earlier with the metaphorical up arrow next to his name.

1000% agree that he would need to bring in a good pitching coach. But, I'm honestly not sure that his current pitching coach has coached/had to develop the type of talent that he could get in here.

You said on here that you pitched in college and you wouldn’t have thrown 17 out of 18 fastballs at Tennessee. That qualifies you as far as I’m concerned

I didn't either. Jason Dietrich. I just skimmed his bio, then looked at some of his pitching staffs. That doesn't really tell the whole story, especially about recruitment and development, but he's UC-Irvine to Cal State Fullerton to Oregon to ECU.
