4th round pick at best. And I actually think he'll kill it at the combine in everything but bench press. But they'll put on the film and realize he's just not a football player. He's just too soft to play football at the college level much less the NFL. I'm sure he's gotten early draft grades saying this so the best of luck to him if that is sufficient for him.
ETA: I'm sure he's an amazing 7-on-7 receiver.

Yeah because we know how horrible lsu wrs have been in the nfl.
Was he gonna have better hands at ucla?
His playing time dropped because of his play.

Probably not UCLA but likely FSU.

That is a mistake. He should come back. I just don't get what these young men are thinking. Whatever, I wish the best of luck to him in the nfl.

Who is advising these guys?
Major fail to play for minimum wage when you can come back and potentially get a $20 million contract.

Sad he was wasted in an antique Model-T Ford offense.
what about when he dropped all of those passes? got beat all the time on 50/50 balls? that's not the offensive schemes fault IMO.

5 Alive brings a good info...You guys who follow recruiting think back to Chi's recruiting where he was really pondering where to go. Cam was on the same flight as Chi when he visited UCLA,etc...The promises our QB whisperer Cam sold these guys in the recruiting process never came to fruition. Dural came back and how did that turn out for him. He was likely rated higher at the end of last season than he is now. As a fan, I "hope" to see significant improvement in the offense and QB play, but after 3 years, if Chi were my son, I wouldn't bank on it either. Heck, Shepard seems to be doing just fine and Chi is a better receiver at this point in his development than Shepard was as a converted wide out

Love Dupre but this is a mistake.
Needs to eat some cheeseburgers, get in the weight room and put up some numbers in this new offense.
All of these guys think they can just get drafted wherever and it doesn't matter because they're going to ball out. It's not that easy.
Marcellus Wiley (former NFL player) talks about how he was a second round pick playing next to Pat Williams. He said he knew day 1 that Pat was better than him, and Pat played better than him in practice, yet Pat almost got cut because he was undrafted and Wiley was a second round pick. There's politics involved depending on where you get drafted. Low round picks have a tough road to hoe, even when you're pretty good.
Point is Dupre needed to come back to school to increase his odds so that they work in his favor instead of against him. Anyways, best of luck to him.

Wasn't Shepard kinda a bitch about getting moved to WR in the first place?

Maybe our staff would pass more if our great wrs would hold onto the ball.

Yeah and he really held up his end as a 5 star recruit.

Hope he has a successful career
IMO, I don't think he will do all that great in the combine

Thank you for the memories Dupre hope he balls out in the league has some crazy athletic skills should do well at the combine

I remember the comments in the Wisconsin game from the Badger DC that LSU had tall receivers but didn't "play tall". He certainly has the ability to high point a ball but he didn't always display it.
Didn't they move him to slot because he wasn't fighting off DB's at wide out?
I think his early drops were lack of focus because of infrequent targets.
Lots of potential but certainly has not had the career many envisioned. Then again, playing in a Miles offense, we shouldn't have expected more.
Wish he was coming back but good luck to him.

I don't think Dupre is 6-4. I bet he measures about 6-2 1/2.
He just wasn't as good as people thought he would be.
I will also be shocked if he runs better than 4.6 at combine.
I could see him getting drafted 4-6 round...not Top 3.

He will be a combine freak and go in the top two rounds. He will be fine.
I will be pretty surprised if he goes in the first two rounds no matter how well he does at the combine. He just hasn't shown hints of that physical nature you want to see in a WR taken in the early rounds. He had less than 500 yards and 3 TDs this year. Chark outperformed him in his first real year of action.

Go make your money, young man. Thank you for representing Louisiana and being a Tiger.
