What has been up with him lately? I heard he struggled all through the fall and had a rough summer. The kid was great all last year. Just mental right now? Hope he can get it turnaround around quick, PM has a pretty short leash.

First, the OP isn't even suggesting Dup be benched. He's only noticing what many people have: Dup is in a slump.
Second, this isn't exactly "just the start of the year". As the OP said, he's been having a rough time since the summer.
So yes, this deserves a thread and discussion because it's a real problem. But again, I agree with you that he'll find hits again.

He can track balls down but i've never seen anyone say he can throw worth a damn. I can overlook that if he's hitting. But if he struggles mightily from the plate (again this is an IF for those seeing red and cant understand hypo's) like he has for the last several months then PM will have to try something else.

Jeez the Rant is hot today. I was just trying to talk some baseball. I know its early, i understand baseball i know slumps come and go. I just wanted to see what other people thought about him struggling. It hasn't been a 3 game struggle, it has been an all summer, fall, and first 3 game struggle. I think AD gets out of the slump also, just curious what other thought. You can mark my word that PM will make a move pretty quick. I would not be surprised to see him move AD to the end of the lineup.
