imo, he is going to be a good player for LSU. this year was tough due to the transition but I saw some things that make me feel he'll be a starter next year.

Sometimes it takes a full season in college and summer ball for players to turn the corner. I expect we see Bianco, Willis, Beloso, DiGiacomo, and Dugas take a step forward next year.

Willis is doing well 3 games into his Northwoods league season. Has a HR and a triple. He's going to be good next season, I think.

I've been tempted to go. this month tickets are only half price so $5. I'm not really in a hurry to go watch a game at Pete Goldsby. I'm sure it's fine though.

Wanted to try to make a Saturday or Sunday afternoon game but it looks like they start at 7.

They link a live stream on their twitter, may just try that...

Man I haven't been to a game at Goldsby Field since the BR River Bats and Jason Williams played there. I may have to go check out a game if I'm supremely bored one day.

I got my ticket for $5 on their website. I went for Drew's first game and it was a great environment. My 3 girls don't even like baseball, but there was other things there to keep them entertained (which I was happy about).

It might be an easier decision if the team was a little better. What are they something like 2-13?

I'm unfamiliar with the summer baseball leagues. How does the pitching the Tiger players see during the summer compared to what the face in the SEC?

Do they still play the All American league in New Orleans at Delgado?

Man, Willis does look the part and has a sweet looking swing. If he can flip that switch he can be lights out!

Right. Getting at-bats at this level is so important, and the summer leagues really help with that. The more college level pitching they see, the more they will adjust to it.
