There’s a difference. All of those guys have an actual reason for being there. I never thought just thinking they could watch the game anywhere else but the dugout would rustle so many jimmies. Bunch of kids on here.

Maybe they were invited by Paul Mainieri. It's been 2 games. I could possibly understand you questioning it if they're still doing it in May, but at this point this is petty and sad

I really didn’t mean to upset everyone. I guess I just see things differently than a lot of other fans. I’m a huge fan and have had baseball season tickets since 1993. Part of what makes this site great is the debate aspect. No hard feelings to anyone. Here’s to a win today

How do you feel about Orgeron inviting former players to walk down victory hill with the team before games? And about former players standing on the sidelines during football games?

Well most of the football guys walking down the hill didn’t jsut leave school 8 months ago. I still look at guys who literally just left in the same light as Cole and Kramer. Like fade out for a bit before coming back. Give people a chance to actually miss you.
I even cringed this week at pictures of Jamal Adams walking around Tiger Stadium with Greedy. I’m sure guys do it all the time and that’s cool. My thing is the cameras. Why do we need to constantly broadcast it? Just let Jamal Adams hang out without having a camera follow him.

Bothered? No.
None of it “bothers” me. I just think it’s weird.
I think a part of it is they were put up on pedestals here and once they leave, nobody really cares about them and they are no longer the face of their team. So they come back here for (partly) attention. If Guice came back in 3-4 years, I wouldn’t look nearly as bad to me.
