Are we supposed to not expect solid resumes from analysts? I don't care if you are the janitor for LSU locker room....you better have a good track record.
what would you have said if we hired Doug Pederson out of Calvary Baptist as an analyst?

I would Say it’s a shitty move to hire a kicker as an analyst
I think You mean Doug Pederson
Itsnangoodnpoint hut Doug doesn’t have a track record of actually not being a good OC
Like it’s the unknown vs know shite.
I get Your point he probably can break down a defense at least

The scheme was likely McElroy
Nussmeier was probably mostly responsible for play calling and QB development

What's the positive with this???
Nussmeier coached the worst Florida offense in decades, coached a lack-luster Michigan offense, and a "meh" Alabama offense (worthy of "meh" because of the stacked talent there).
I don't get it...

Coaching History:

2006–2007 St. Louis Rams (QB)
2008 Fresno State (OC/QB)
2009–2011 Washington (OC/QB)
2012–2013 Alabama (OC/QB)
2014 Michigan (OC/QB)

All we know now is he's an offensive analyst. He's not calling plays.

On January 18, 2012, Nussmeier was announced as the new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Alabama Crimson Tide, replacing outgoing coordinator Jim McElwain. Under his guidance, junior quarterback AJ McCarron set the school record for touchdowns in a season with 26. McCarron threw an additional four touchdowns in the 2013 BCS National Championship Game against Notre Dame in a 42–14 victory, which allowed McCarron to set another school record for career touchdown passes.

Why? What can he provide to the bulkheads of a sinking ship?
