ummm, what? I'm not trying to be rude, but is this board just going to ignore the fact that for the last 4 years of his coaching stops at various schools, his offenses have never ranked above 100th in the nation?

He was horrendous at mich, he was horrendous at Florida, and he was "fired" from Alabama for not taking full advantage of stacked offenses.

Are we supposed to not expect solid resumes from analysts? I don't care if you are the janitor for LSU locker room....you better have a good track record.

If he had a great track record he wouldn’t be an analyst. But yeah I thought the same thing. He kinda sucked

They aren’t all drunks

So we promote the interim, career TE coach to Offensive Coordinator, and put an ACTUAL Offensive Coordinator in an analyst role?? WTF

Doug Nussmeier to LSU as an analyst

Happiest day for departing coaches in the Saban era was the day Nussmeier left for Michigan.

As an OC, he was horrible.
Perhaps as an analyst he'll be better.

Time will tell, but I don't think this is a good pick up for LSU.

Is he another coach from Louisiana/USC/college in Louisiana? There also is a reason he still isnt at Bama, UF and Michigan. This leadership is a freaking joke. Maybe we can get lucky and they put this shite on Comedy Central and get paid for this circus!

I like it. People complain about coaching choices but I think ?Nussmeier will help analyze our young QB s and give tips to coach them up

Did you watch the UF offense? The scheme and play calling was good, the QB play was not
