It's crazy to think about it.

Miles would rather play 2 running backs coming off torn acls and a fb over two freshmen RB's that proved to be really good when they got a chance to play.

It's crazy to think about the amount of young talent that is all over the field right now for LSU but there are still people that are using a 5 year old example to perpetuate some stupid rant myth that miles doesn't play young talent.

Just give it a rest.

i think miles had an issue with it around 2005-2007, but he's learned from his mistakes

that's a good thing for LSU

JR got lazy when he got money. nobody argues this. i don't even think JR would JR went #1 overall, fwiw

This I agree with.

Just my opinion though (which I know along with a $1.50 gets me a newspaper). No big deal....

And whoever said it is right- it's time to worry about Miss State.

the problem was you had Brett Helms, Lyle Hitt and Pet Dyakowski all starting for the first time on the o-line.

HItt didn't start playing OL until 07. but yeah, the 06 OL was very patchwork and green. Brian Johnson had shifted inside to G, Black and Dyke were brand new on the outside, and Helms had played G more than anything prior to that. also, Will Arnold was a starter for like 2 games before his injuries kicked in again. they still held up really well IMO (though Jamarcus made em look good at times).

We will never know. Many thought he had great potential....JR was indeed a great physical talent....I admit- as far as arm strength, Russell was beyond compare. I believed he would make it at the next level. Sometimes the pieces just don't fall out the right way. I've heard it said that the work ethic issues mentioned earlier didn't just start when the money rolled in.....

But I digress....

I've just always been a Flynn fan. I'd like to see him get a legit shot- possibly at another team- in the NFL. I believe he's capable of being a starter. Especially on a team whose current QB will never lead them out of mediocrity.

You listening, Jerry Jones?

Jamarcus still could make it. get his arse in shape and head screwed on straight. he could do it.

remember Jim Plunkett? Better yet, Favre. Nearly drank his way out of the league the first few years.

I really wish he would- I'd love to see it happen. He's a former Tiger, for cryin' out loud. Nobody would be happier than me if he did.

Yes I agree with Doug having watching every year since the 1960's. The 69, 73,87,03,07 were very talented teams also but this team has the most talent. If it translates into a championshiip. I sure hope so

We don't have the offense this year to be considered the best team ever.

But next year and the year after could be retarded awesome.
