Ford and Ware >> KW and Hester

likely, but KW was beast mode as a young guy, then trailed off. JV, alley, and broussard peaked prior to their last year, also

weird shite happens at LSU with RBs since saban took over

Mo >> Chevis, Reid >> Steltz,

i think reid is for sure going to be better than steltz, but his comparison is more laron. you should compare steltz to b taylor (in terms of talent...otherwise laron and reid will always split)

chevis was awesome. really underrated. if he had sub 4.45 speed he'd be a lock down NFL corner today

Keiland missed fall camp and had been with the team for about 2 weeks when we played Auburn.

And what about Scott?

I'd have taken him over Vincent, hester, and Broussard.

couldn't have been worse than a rushing average either under 2 ypc or negative ypc

Clayton, Spears, Laron- first RD pick

Whitworth, Devery, corey webster, marquise hill-2nd round

Petersman, Skley, 3rd round

Kyle Williams was like a 4th round pick, is now an all pro. Travis Daniels was a 4th

nate livings was a UDFA has been a starter for hte Bengals for a few years

eric alexander has a few rings

Wilkerson was a stud but got injured.

Just imagine if KW and Scott got to play before lsu lost two games

you're barking up the wrong tree...the problem was you had Brett Helms, Lyle Hitt and Pet Dyakowski all starting for the first time on the o-line.

The playcalling was awful. Toss sweeps until jimbo/miles let er rip on the last drive.

All the RB's seemed slow until KW got playing time.

I'd have taken Scott over a beat up Vincent, a beat up Broussard and a fb playing rb hester

well laron counts twice. but TJ and Dorsey were both top 5 picks. bowe was also a 1st round WR (to counter clayton)

then JR was #1 overall. davis was a 1st rounder

chevis went early 3rd (68th)

Wilkerson was a stud but got injured.

i'll compare him to ciron in this regard

ST guy who plays hybrid shite like mccray

they're similar arguments

lavalais didn't get drafted highly, and did shite in the NFL, but he was dorsey's equal in their respective years. tommie harris only won the awards b/c he was from a name school and had preseason hype (which many argued about dorsey, esp after he got hurt and lost his gumption)

it's not clear 1 way or the other

hell, both years even had inconsistent running games until a true freshman RB emerged as the guy

IIRC, JR was about 9 for 23 midway through the 3rd quarter, there were only 18-19 running plays called the entire game. Only 4-5 times were 2 running plays called during a 4 down set, and all but 1 resulted in a first down.

It's crazy to think about it.

Miles would rather play 2 running backs coming off torn acls and a fb over two freshmen RB's that proved to be really good when they got a chance to play.

yeah alley was fat and was on 1 knee. it was sad to watch him in 2006

JV lost his burst (gut and bulking up). hester was never a fast guy

I believe if Flynn had been the starting QB in 06, we'd have won the first of 2 BCS titles in a row. My opinion.

Can't you people just enjoy the games/team from week to week. I know all I can think about right now is this Miss St game.

so you think flynn would have played better than the best QB in college in 2006? better than as a senior with crowton's 1st year offense?

Yes, I do. And evidently, the NFL agrees with me.

What's JR doing these days, anyway?

that has little to do with anything. JR got lazy when he got money. nobody argues this. i don't even think JR would

JR went #1 overall, fwiw
