Flutie, like most of the talking heads on CFL, is a waste of space.

Only redeeming aspects of CFL are Rece Davis and Trevor Matich.

Robert Smith is OK.

He's a midget so his opinion doesn't count.

yeah, at least Palmer comes off as doing a little homework.

I get the impression Flutie just shows up to work and wings it. he is constantly glancing at his paper to even be able to spit out the names of players we all know.

Agreed. And RJF needs to keep that talk in the locker room.

Then when he's on the field-BOOM!!!!

i'm sure RJF meant what he said. he probably shouldn't have said it to espn or anything that sounded like that, but it is what it is. i don't think it will have any bearing on the outcome of the game whatsoever. let tebow get jacked up, beaten down, and then cry like he always does. for the record, i don't think it's unusual for a d-lineman to want to try to hit the quarterback so hard he can't continue. i don't think he meant he wanted to take out his knee or anything but just put a beat down on him so bad that not even he will be able to bounce back up like it was nothing. i think it's ridiculous how the media loves to run with nonsense like this.

Flutie is just jealous that the Blue Grass Miracle is better then his hail marry pass. I respect Flutie and what he has done with the Autistic community, but as far as his college football analysis goes not so much.

An unethical reporter could sit down for 30 minutes with any of the DL of the Gaytors (20 year old kid) and asked him a series of convoluted questions (similar to a deposition with lots of smoke and mirrors)and then handpick responses that would be inflammatory,if taken out of context, and publish them for all to see. Add a big title to really get attention and viola! Kid's reputation ruined, writer gets a pat on the back by both sides of the ball. Beautiful isn't it?

I think he might be right. I don't see a problem with hitting him so hard with a clean shot that he's out for the game.

Not by his choice though, they now build that into the contracts when ESPN hires you.

Flutie: great player but another ESPN douche personality. Holtz still the worst with Flutie and Corso tied for second.

Deep down we all know RJF meant it

Flutie was a great quarterback and is in the CFL (The real CFL) hall of Fame

and it was a stupid thing to say
