Having illegal firearms is not a random kid mistake
Misdemeanor crime. Will be back on the team by spring practice. (My prediction based on P&G glasses)

Trey, God did not make your sister mentally challenged. But he did allow us the free will to choose our own way in the beginning(the Garden), and thus we are living in a world with a lot of problems. There are many different factors that could be involved in why your sister is this way,(along with the millions of tragic things that happen in this world) one of the main ones is our disobedience to God in the fall. God doesn't screw up, we did, and He is grieved by our screw ups. Jesus was just pointing out that he wanted to heal the blind man,and show everyone His desire is to make us whole again.

Free will also gives evil people the ability to carry out evil acts.
While not giving you the free will to avoid being the victim of these evil acts. Don't you think if free will was real, those people in the Towers on 9/11 would have exercised that free will to not be there?

Hussel, How could they have exercised their free will, if they had no knowledge it was going to happen?

If he was at Bama, he could have been caught smoking weed along with the gun and still only got a slap on the wrist.
Glad Coach O is holding them accountable. This is why they were so well behaved at the White House. They have been taught that you can have a really good time and still be well behaved and respectful.

Oh Dear God, the absolute kindergarten level of thinking that this statement arises from. Sorry that your grandpa was dumb as dirt, and passed that gene on to you
quote:
9/11, school shootings, cancer,
Forget God, mankind could stop all these bad things from happening. But they don't. Because it means we would be locked away all our lives, with no social interaction. And that's exactly why God created the Earth. For us to enjoy. Together. And the entity that is responsible for your life doesn't stop the bad things from happening, because he has to have a record judge people on
However, there is a place like you think the Earth should be. But he doesn't want idiots you and your grandpa there, to frick it up for the rest of us
And you thought you had said something profound on the Interwebz today. Lulz

God doesn’t “screw up”. Except the time he put a “forbidden fruit” in a “garden” and told the only two living beings not to eat it already knowing full well that that was EXACTLY what they were going to do.
Do you people really not see the idiocy and logical fallacy with this story? Either it’s all bullshite (most likely) or you have to admit that god is just a dick. You don’t put a cookie down in front of your child knowing full well when you walk away he’s going to eat it then get mad at him for eating it. Your dumbass should have never put the cookie there in the first place

Fixed.
But let's go back to:

He has to have a record judge people on
God is beyond space and time, everything occurs to God simultaneously. So He already knows this at the moment of creation, why does He need a list? As a matter of fact, God is 'experiencing' Creation and Armageddon at the same time.

No, but I can certainly see your idiocy
The Biblical text is riddled with examples where Lucifer charged God that his punishment was too great, and that his newest creation would do the same as Lucifer did, IF GIVEN THE CHANCE. In Eden there was no chance, until the tree of Life was introduced

Why should I care what the Bible says?

So my sister is reaping the consequences of others?? Because other people screwed up. That’s a fricked up way of looking at things..
let’s believe in a god who punished people who haven’t done anything wrong or born yet so that others will know the wrath and the power of god..

God is a lonely and jealous entity, therefore creation. But God refuses to pass judgment on his creation, until they act. Otherwise, we are only figurines on a mantle to him, and incapable of any relationship. Which is why we were created. To commune with him, by our own initiative

Also who gave you the power to say what god/Jesus did or intended to do:.. are you a prophet? Do you get letters from god? Or are you merely interpreting a text that’s been rewritten and translated hundreds of times over there years. Not to mention the fact that god didn’t write the Bible or even choose which books belong and which don’t... all those decisions have been made by men claiming to be prophets

You can’t rationalize with these people. They believe it is justified for every human ever to be punished for the actions of two. But ask them if they believe they should still be paying for the atrocity that was slavery that their ancestors did and they will tell you differently. You can’t have it both ways people. Either America owes reparations or god is a dick for punishing all of humanity for the actions of two.
For the record.. I’m against both. No one is responsible for the stupid shite the people before us did.

Except you’ve still not proven a god exists.

Since my thread has been hijacked, I will put in my 2 cents.
God isn’t controlling things and choosing earthly outcomes. He isn’t choosing which kids to have cancer, who to get raped, nor which football team to win (Dabo, you listening ?) For believers, God gives us strength to handle these stressors of life and can look forward to the afterlife. For nonbelievers, we have to do deal with stuff on our own and it’s over when our time on earth is done.
That is the only thing that makes sense to me.
