I thought that Auburn game was the best of his career so far.

They tried him 3 straight times in the last drive and he shut that shite down! Great Game D. Jax!

i think the stadium may have evaporated had he caught that pick 6 to close out the game. he absolutely dominated on the last few series.

Has anyone caught a 15 yard+ pass on him yet this year? He could go to sleep some games at std corner, no one even thinks about challenging him there.
But at the nickel, hes going to be busier and you will see more plays like we did Saturday from him. He's been very good for a long time.

Even with Tredavious White last yr on the team not many attempted to target Jackson. This includes Bama after a bye, A&M and Louisville with a month to prepare.

He's terrific.

Totally agree. Sure wish he could catch though. That pick 6 would have been so nice

The biggest thing to watch is how many times the guy he is covering gets targeted.

That's his primary job, to make the QB skip right over him in progressions.

With his speed, he makes windows small. His hips are waaaay better, coupled with he reads the WRs body language much better too. Hips, hands, and eyes. Go with the hips, and when the eyes get big or the hands un-clench and go above the waist... look for the ball.

On that note watch Chark closely. He's learning to leave the hands relaxed and not in a fist. He always looks like he's ready for the ball. Well, not always but many times. Makes it tough on opposing DBs. Now he just needs to learn to fake them with the same type of reads, and THEN break (they'll be looking for the ball and not watching his hips). The other WRs need to learn all of this. They suck at the little things, just so damn talented and fast it makes up for it.

While getting interviewed after the game someone tossed him a bottle of water. One of the reporters flatly states “You caught that one.”

If I had the time or inclination, I'd bump all the threads from earlier this year when a bunch of idiots were shitting all over DJ and begging for him to ride the bench.

He's been great.

It was crazy to me watching that last drive Saturday when I thought of how little he was targeted the first part of the season and then he gets challenged 3 times in a row.

I will admit beginning of season, I was saying Tolliver needed to replace him when he comes back and put Greedy on the other side. Boy was I wrong, congrats to the kid on hard work paying off. Really glad he is a Tiger..

And I was one arguing that KT needed to stay on the bench, but really happy that he's really stepped up lately as well.

Would be great if they both came back next year. Imagine the secondary with Greedy, KT and DJ at CB and covering the slot.

All three of the corners played lights out Saturday. Delpit got exposed once, but he's a freshman and that's going to happen. It was also a mismatch. He made some really good plays after that big catch.

Eric Monroe has stepped up big time. He's flat out taken the FS spot from Battle.

I think that was one of those plays where ya gotta tip your cap to the call. It was a huge mismatch and AU exploited it.
