She's an alpha. You can see it in her all of her interactions with the other coaches and staff. She oozes confidence.

She's the most successful coach on campus by a wide margin, and she's making more money than all of them except O. To modify a metaphor, she's a whale, even in a giant pond.

in girls sports, be willing to bet that if we were reigning football national champs and were undefeated in mid-season three, this would either be a footnote here or on a different board

Again, she's the most successful coach in any sport we have by a wide margin. And she makes more than every other state employee in Louisiana except the national championship winning head football coach. That has nothing to do with how much attention this board pays to her or would pay to her under whatever nonsense hypo you create.

guess I'm just getting old but you can't play both sides of the street, in this woke society let every kid go out for every team to see who can field the best team, Mulkey probably wouldn't have made her hs bb team, and as for this

travesty is not a strong enough word

don't even comprehend what your point is here, a pint sized runt that coaches a sport that many intramural teams could could compete/win at justifies this how?

I pay my TD dues so I can post moronic opinions too, I root for all things LSU but Title IX, and women's collegiate "athletics" are a joke to me

sorry, baw, just don't get all of this, but as I said, I'm an old fart, when I was at LSU, "the" basketball team(pre-Title IX,) played in a cow barn, and with Pistol Pete not too far in the rearview, I was on the baseball team, we typically had more players and coaches in the stands than fans, and we had to prep the field and police it up after the game, and we were reigning SEC champs when I got there! now we have non-revenue sports playing on national tv and having chartered jets for travel? I'm all for equality, just don't tip the scale too far

I’m actually a very happy man. This board is just filled with Jim Jones level Kool-Aid gulpers. Trust me, I don’t lie awake at night thinking about this, but I will post my opinion when I feel like it.

It’s great to have her, all that spunk will be great for the entire athletic staff.
However, addressing someone as ma’am is the proper way to address a married lady as miss is for a lady who is not married. It has nothing to do with age. It is the respectful way to address her, as Coach O knows!

Because you weren't trying to comprehend it. Your response indicates that.

It was a fricking joke. She and O are long-time friends. They mess with each other. It is a good thing for our coaches across sports to do this. O laughed about it.

Meanwhile, watch out for the baws on the Rant getting offended vicariously.

Did you ever watch her play basketball in HS? I did and, at that time, was the best girls player I’ve ever seen. I think she could have made the majority of boys programs in the state. She also made the Lady Techsters the premier WBB team at that time.

frick it. I would vote her president of the United States right this second. She would do a much better job than the pedophile lowlife who people right now call president.
