I beg to differ. They have staff writers on newspapers and their lead Gump in Rece Davis on ESPN who's willfully denying the obvious and vehemently insisting that it was targeting. Everybody disagrees with the call except Gump fans. He even had Kirk Herbstreit disgusted with his homerism and bias. He actually had Herbstreit duck and shake his head in disgust and disbelief that he would defend such a grossly incorrect call. I think Herbstreit actually lost some respect for Rece Davis after that Exchange.
I understand being a homer but their entitlement and arrogance knows no bounds. And not only do they insist that it was targeting, they rub it in and attack you for saying otherwise.

Anyone that can listen to my drunk arse talk some smack and keep it friendly is welcome at my tailgate no matter what team they support. I'll never understand the hostility at gamedays. I'm not saying allow rude Bama fans to run all over you but to just be a dick because they have a good football team or whatever the reason is insecure at the least. Y'all are the ones that need to toughen the frick up.

First of all, when has anybody directly said, indicated or implied that the reason they're angry about the targeting call is because Alabama's football team is good?
