Load the box and let Stingley & Kris lock down their 3rd and 4th WRs.

Hit Fromm early and often, he has a bad tendency to throw off his back foot when he gets hit.

Don’t wait until the 2nd half to blitz. Put him on his arse

Get pressure on Fromm. He makes bad decisions when he has to scramble.

I'm sure Aranda is taking notes from this post. Good job, you may have just secured the win.

What is your guys' honest opinions about Aranda?

When he was at Wisconsin he was an elite DC and the next big thing. For a couple years at LSU it seems like their defense was elite but this year it just seems like they haven't put it all together yet.

What do you guys believe is the reason for this?

Why did you wait until the day before the game to tell him this?

Now he won't have time to adjust his game plan. Good job idiot.

while this is a no brainer, you left out one thing. hit swift with all 11 guys every time he touches the ball. remind swift about his shoulder every time he touches the ball.

GA will be prepared to run every gimmick in the book, at least in the first half, with WRs being out. With every score for LSU in the first half, GA will be forced to not be able to play conservative and try more plays that are risky.

Good questions, honestly. This year it seems like his D has been a little lackluster, but its tough to blame that on him. When our players are at 100% his calls work well, but I am tired of getting spanked on the run. Seems we let go a few foolish times and it bites us. Ultimately, I would say that I have faith in him though

It isn't aranda's fault the defense has been so inconsistent this year. Just ask any of the excuse makers. There are many reasons, but aranda is not to blame.

* See...post above me. Can't blame him. Somebody else. Players, E, O, Les..etc

Thanks for the reply.

So is it fair to say what concerns LSU fans the most is a mobile QB? Has LSU been pretty consistent in passing D all year?

He’s totally reading this looking for answers. I think you need to post this again.

Aranda told me to tell you to stay in your lane as a message board DC.

I hope we sell out to stop the run. I'll take my chances in coverage.

Honestly, besides Ole Miss, Aranda’s defenses have been great against mobile QBs. Overall, I still have faith in Aranda. There was a story this offseason about other coaches saying that he hasn’t adjusted well over the years to offenses adjusting to him. Not in game, but overall. We are playing much more zone this year and may be a bi product of Aranda’s attempted adjustments. Hopefully, this year is just some growing pains of Aranda doing some revamp of his system.

I’m sure the speed of the offense has had an effect on the defense overall also

ya'll are mocking the OP but even us guys who aren't football brains can figure this strategy out.

the basic plan is sound, and Dave will use his football brain to ramp it up.

Aranda did just fine against UGA last year. I don't think he needs any advice.
