Anyone who doesn't understand that particular play was simply an example of two players each trying to make a play for their team doesn't have a very high college football IQ.

yeah lee sux. he bailed JJ's arse out the UF and UT games in 2010 and sealed the win against bama.

remember that 4th and 16 he converted to keep us alive aginst UT? his scoring drives to make up for JJ's fackups in UF game. comeback against AUBURN in 2008 etc.

It's futile to hope for a better past. Regardless, the true anger should be for the media jihad that put Alabama in that game when the didn't earn it.

The Gumps didn't prove they were the best team in the country and deserving of a championship on 1-9, they proved they could split with LSU......when given a "do over".

LSU beat Alabama on its home field....and the Tigers "reward" was to have to beat UGA to go to the national championship game. Alabama got a free pass.

LSU had the best regular season in the history of college football and got f----d by EsPN. It's quite possibly the worst travesty in the history of sport with Roy Jones Jr in the Olympics and the USA-USSr basketball game also being in the running.
