No matter what level of success Alabama achieves in sports they're still Alabama and you know that's got to sting.

I don't care if it's classified as a rivalry or not. That term is loosely thrown around like it means something. It may to an extent in football, but not in baseball. Our baseball rival is an hour southeast of us.

I'd agree with that, although in baseball there seems to be signs of life from time to time...

It does to us. But them beating us is just beating another team.

They don't have any special hatred or feelings of rivalry with us really, other than we're perennially a good team in football and baseball.

Yep. That's all the termites have left. They're termites because you never see them except when they play LSU and then they come out of the woodwork.

The way Gumps' minds work they are sitting in their trailers now thinking if the baseball team had only won three more games this weekend, they would have swept LSU.....

And Bama was actually the better team. They just let LSU beat them.

I told my son, LSU could be playing Bama in Checkers and it would still feel great beating them.

I wonder if they used the Game of ther Century football excuse as to why they lost all three games in this series...."LSU didn't beat us, we best ourselves..."

Sorry Louisiana, but if you want to beat Bama at everything, then you need to have meth labs in your Wal-Mart restrooms!
