Yeah, especially being as KBeckwith has proven so much to everybody.

Just like Harris and Jennings.
Next guy is always better.

Minter was a 4.6 guy
Barrow was a 4.6 guy
Kelvin was a 4.7 guy
Welter is a 4.6 guy, or he was out of HS

But he is white, so you got that part going for you

Yea,but think how good it makes people who post, say that to say that. They feel enlightened to knock a white guy. White players should only be QB,OL or kicker. Its "cool" to say this.

hopefully welter plays really well. LSU needs him to be a good player. but watching him play last year probably took 2-3 years off my life

He is NOT a slow linebacker....hopefully his strength has improved because his weakness was getting pushed around.

Linebacker position is notorious for white athletes.

This. If anything he is undersized for the position but again do rant posters know something Chief doesn't?

i agree. but chavis uses undersized guys at LB bc they are usually fast/quick. welter is not slow but he's not overly fast/quick either.

Welter must do some things right or Chief wouldn't start him. I dunno, maybe he's a great practice player, or maybe that type guy who keeps all the other D guys in proper alignment or something along those lines. He really stuck out to me early on his career as that guy running in after the play had already been made but as somebody mentioned, he did get noticeably better towards the end of last year imo.

How do you feel about missing a tackle on a running back?

It's hard to fix slow.

And his timed 40 may be ok, but on the field he's slow as frick.
