Does this year's strategy translate better at the new field in Omaha?

Our hitting in the postseason has me worried with Vandy and Florida crushing the ball. We've had more steals this season than the past two combined and can hit well, but seem to be in a slump. Will the steals and "small ball" do us good in Omaha?

Small ball? How many games have you watched?

imo, this team is built for Omaha. execution is a whole nother thing.

we have to hit. it seems like we surfaced about the 7th inning tonight but we have been in never, never land at the plate.

I realize LSU hasn't played too much small ball this year. They've stole, but haven't bunted much. Just asking if we will see more bunting to go along with steals in Omaha.

Gotcha. I don't think. They hit well gap to gap and for average. I think the park suits the game we've played all season

Scivique's shot would have reached the warning track.

LSU is built for Omaha with their pitching staff. I don't think the offense will get suckered in like 2013 did and try hit every UCLA pitch 500 feet.

But can they cornhole TCU? That is the real question

I'd like to see us play aTm because they are a lot like us and might go 2013 LSU on us and tattoo every bad pitch to just shy of the warning track.

Bunting? No. Hit & run? Absolutely.
