I mean we might come out a little slow in the first half after last weekend and Ole Piss will play like a desperate team trying to win its annual super bowl. I hate playing desperate teams.

In any case O will be pumped to win against a team that fired him and I hope his energy will rub off on the players.

This is the biggest game of the season folks.

Every game is scary when you're #1 and everyone is looking to de-throne you. We are going to win, its just scary and unfamiliar territory.

not really and maybe that is bad. I just think we got the monkey off our backs beating bama and will play loose and confident from here on out.

We are so much better than them at everything, even with having some guys out.

What worries me is having a Bama hangover, especially playing on the road. We need to come out firing so that we can give some guys rest. If this thing stays tight for 4 quarters, we're going to be gassed.

LSU 50, Ole Miss 27

It scares me, yeah. Saban's "rat poison" rant is true. There's a fine line between confidence and over-confidence, swagger and infallibility. Ole Miss and Arkansas are not good teams, but they're still SEC teams. "Rat poison" stuff aside, I'm only slightly worried about A&M and not at all about Ole Miss and Arkansas.

More scared of injuries but all SEC games worry me. Especially when we’re ranked high and the other team has nothing to lose.

The Ole Miss game always scares me. They like being spoilers, esp versus LSU. Lotta history in there.

Each of the next three schools we play will likely see beating LSU as validation of their season.

That is a concern but that concern is diminished quite a bit knowing LSU is better than anyone remaining on the schedule.

Don't see us starting slow honestly. I feel like the guys are itching to get back out there now that we've solidified ourselves as #1. The game I could see us starting slow is against Arkansas - but it won't matter because the pigs are terrible.

With Miles as coach it would have, something crazy would have happened and they would have come out flat

I would be more concerned if it was a 11:00 am type kickoff

Not this time and not this year

Leadership too good on this team from Burrow, to Helaire, to Cushenberry to Lawrence.

why are you people all like this

no, i'm not scared of a rich rod led offense or any ole miss team, ever. lsu is going to beat them by 45 points.

our fanbase is terrified of their own shadows.

I’m the more worried about this game than Arkansas or A&M. Away in the cold, after the biggest win in the last 8 years and missing both tackles.

It’s not that unfamiliar.

We won titles in 2003 and 2007 and we were 13-1 in 2011.
