Does the progression for Daniels show NFL scouts he has coachability?

The big concern for him in the off-season was that he is the same guy as his freshman year, but correct me if I’m wrong, he didn’t have the same OC in consecutive seasons at ASU. Is he a first day QB off the board this year because of his progression and showing that he can be coached up or is he a product of the Denbrock system?

He’s Definitely way better than when he was a freshman the dude is the first in the building everyday and the last to leave he’s a true leader!

He will be a combine freak. NFL gm’s get their dicks hard over guys like Daniel’s. Look at Anthony Richardson. He was terrible at FL and was the 4th pick in the draft.

Daniel’s is a much better QB than Richardson. I think he will be a late 1st rd pick. Someone is going to fall in love with him.

Daniels has proven to be very coachable. Just look how he can now "see" down the field. He couldn't do that last season. He's improved a lot. Someone does need to teach him to slide more often.

A lot of that is trusting your receivers. If they are often running the wrong routes in practice the QB is naturally going to tend to hold the ball to make sure the receiver breaks the right way.

I thought he was a 6th/7th rounder if he came out last year. This was based on potential alone.

Probably a mid round pick after 3-4 games this year, & now he's easily looking like a 2nd rounder (Early 3rd at the worst).

If he keeps playing like this for the rest of the year...you have to think he finds his way into the 1st round.

He improved his weaknesses & he's putting up video game numbers. He's doing everything necessary to shoot up the draft boards. That & he's going to destroy the combine.

There were idiots arguing with me that he wouldn’t be drafted a little over a month ago. If he’s a legit 6’4 and can get his weight up to 225 and run a sub 4.5 40, NFL execs will cream their fricking pants. On top of the production, leadership, and the fact that’s he a great young man.

I sincerely doubt that he is.

I'd say his vast improvement with executing the deep passing game is a clear sign of his coachability AND his work ethic. He's a 1st rounder for sure.

I think he is a slam dunk first rounder, doubt me? As above posters have said, he has proven to be coachable but it goes far beyond that. A lot of guys are coachable. What are you doing when the coaches are not around? You can't be as good as he has been this season without putting in the work on your own and being a leader. Also again as stated by others Anthony Richardson was draft 4th and he is gifted as a athlete but as a QB he is dog shite.
