Does the fact that the refs were fair against Bama change your opinion? by mark65mcNo. I think that the SEC realized that everyone was watching, including the President. If something shady would have happened, he would have tweeted about it and that is attention that they did not want.

This! Those refs knew everyone in the country was watching that game. With the criticism they have received in the past with the Alabama situation, they knew they had to call a fair game.
If this was a normal game and LSU not in line to have a National Audience, Refs still sway calls for Alabama.

PP7 intercepted that pass. I don’t care how long it’s been, nobody is changing my mind

This, it is rigged in favor. They only call it fair when the world is watching the game like that night. Also, LSU whipped that arse so hard, they refs could do nothing to help.

The dumbest thread started on this site. You are an embarrassment to the LSU fan base.

Doubtful.
Bottom line is there are a lot of LSU fans that have issues with SEC refs and believe there is a Bama bias. Being curious of the impact this last game had on their perception is not that bad a thread.
Just because you don’t believe the refs are biased, doesn’t make everyone’s else’s belief wrong or dumb.

The call against Vadal at the end of the game In 2014 stole a victory from LSU.

Go back and look at which ref came running in to make that call against Vadal. If he was on the take, it would look just like that.

In fact, there were 3 plays that same ref called or tried to call that night. All wouldve went the gumps way, including that ridiculous call against Alexander, which cost LSu the game imo.

refs are always on Bama’s payroll?

This was never the belief. Ever! It's been said a lot but the gripe is that Alabama alumni have been working games.

The head of officials for the SEC is Steve Shaw. Who graduated from Alabama and literally on the Rotary Club in Tuscaloosa.

They have had other Alabama graduates work football games in the SEC.
