Backup for a while, make some money then retire once he keeps getting cut.

Unless some QB coach fixes his glaring issues. He has raw talent.

You left off the metric that always gets ignored and is probably the most important. He ain’t got that dog in him.

Sure dude. It’s the injury(s) that have been causing him to throw all of the int’s.

I'd say he has better arm strength than both Burrow and Daniels. And he definitely has bigger hands than Burrow (it's a joke). But he falls behind in every other measurable quality and also intangibles. But, I think he has a good chance to be a good backup in the NFL. Maybe even a starter one day. Remember how Daniels looked in his 2nd year as a starter? Nuss has a lot of potential.

I don't think he's smart enough to be an NFL QB

Stronger arm than Jayden? Are you high? Jayden throws 65 yards with a flick of his wrist while Nuss struggles to get the ball 50 yards down field

I think if a GM told his dad look at this guy’s film from this year, we are drafting a QB, what do you think, he would say I can’t work with that

If we’re being honest

What say you?

he’ll get a shot because of his last name, (and the league is full of mediocre qbs right now,) but as it stands right now, he’s nowhere near an NFL caliber qb

True but the one thing you CANOT be is a turnover machine.

There are quite a few guys who made careers in the NFL and were or are turnover machines.

Tua has 61 turnovers in 70 games.

Geno Smith has 100 turnovers in 100 games

Jake Browning has 15 turnovers in 16 games.

Jameis Winston 137 turnovers in 105 games

He may not be a starter, but he could have a great career as a backup

Footwork is bad bad

Looks like he is dancing in the pocket on most drop backs and throwing off his back foot often

This is easily his worst attribute. It has to be obvious to any coach he has ever had yet it's no better than his freshman year.

He's shown very little improvement over his career.

He will have some practice squad years and maybe a couple on actual roster in the NFL but he will be looking for a real job by his 28th birthday.

He’ll be a camp arm. Likely get cut in final cuts and come back as a practice squad player. Will bounce around a few teams before becoming a grad asst or insurance agent.

I don't think Nuss sees the field well enough to be an NFL QB. He struggles with reads before the snap and he struggles reading a defense as the play goes on. The longer he holds the ball, the more thinking he does, and the worse he generally gets. This is partly why he gets killed. Yes, his OL sucks but there's plenty of times he should be getting rid of the ball quicker with open WRs and he just doesn't see them. He struggles to read a defense and see the field. For this reason alone, he'll probably never be good in NFL. He doesn't have the mental aspect of the game to do it sorry to say and he doesn't process information fast enough. His worst attribute is he has zero idea how to take what a defense gives you and thinks he can superman everything.

Best take in the thread. Nfl coaches aren't going to tolerate the tap dancing and back foot INT's for long. A few will take a chance because he has some raw arm talent, but the truth is there isn't much value there. A decent arm with horrible decision making isn't hard to find.
