Does LSU tarp field in football?

I know LSU has invested tons in drainage and has a great field crew… so no doubt if we get lucky and it’s not raining at kick the field will be good to go.

But curious if they tarp it like they do in baseball. That would have to be a very large tarp and would have to be transported… but it makes some sense to do.

Curious of those who would know.

No, I think there is some elaborate drainage system underground that deals with the rainwater

Maybe? Pretty sure the crown has been reduced if not completely flattened. Haven’t been on it many years.
