The NC game was a total nationwide embarrassment. In the 3rd, we were going to loose if we kept doing what we were doing. Nothin from nothin is nothin. He should have tried out lee or mett. As it stood, we were going to loose. At least try something else. I'm through with miles. Appreciate what he's done.

Nobody watched it so it's not "nation wide"

I'll admit he drove me crazy with his 2-QB system statements to the media, don't understand what happened in the NC game or why he didn't try anything different, and hated the whole thing with JL not getting to play at the last home game at LSU or NC. No disrespect for JJ because I liked him as well.

However, my teenager daughter and friends went to the movie a few weeks after the NC game and ran into CLM and his family and he was kind enough to take some pictures with him and they all said he was very, very nice gentleman. So I think that speaks volumes as to his character.

As a coach, I do think he is a "mad hatter" and very gutsy and I like that about him.

I come to realize that I have never been and never will be a competitive person. Personally, if the entire team got to play in every single game, I would still be cheering for them. Of course, I do realize this would not be a good strategy and this is not a little league game.

ButthurtNation still going strong I see. Till 2020 or so may every season have a certain unease, may every game come with a certain distaste. Fitting and deserved for that crew.

Yes! After guiding LSU to its best SEC season ever and overcoming losing our starting qb, 3rd wr, and best defensive playmaker and best rb ( ware was doing well before the susp) there were "fans" calling for Miles to be fired, BEFORE THE BCSCG WAS OVER. Seriously!at the end of the 4th qrtr on Jan.9th, some posters were already calling for him to be fired. It's sad that our once great fan base has turned into what we hated about Bama fans. ENTITLED. I guess some posters don't remember when LSU fans were happy to make the Ind.Bowl. Also it's always harder to maintain a winning program than it is to build it.

If anyone can find a coach that is perfect and has never made bonehead mistakes, feel free to post them.

A boneheaded mistake is one play, one player substitution or even one series. That game on 1/9/12 was coached as if one of his children was taken hostage by mafia gangsters to ensure a certain outcome.

I'm just curiouus. How many ultra light beers and how many hours did you spend to come up with that little gem?

Oh, I didn't think that up. Two different fans of two other SEC teams and one of my friends who knows nothing about football suggested this, on three separate occasions.

Let's throw in two seasons that would have been perfect under Saban that were not under Miles.

Which two?

LSU will always be my favorite team but Saban is still my favorite coach followed by Miles

The Alabama coach should never be an LSU fan's favorite coach. I'm really curious, though, as to which two seasons you think would have been perfect if Saban were coaching our team.

When you confuse the team that just put the largest footnote to date in your coaching career with one that's not even in our conference, you're a doofus. It sheds light as to the dumb arse mistakes that he makes at least once a year. Too bad his latest cost us a total embarassment on a national level.

If you think losing in THE NATIONAL TITLE GAME is a huge frick up, then you are a recent LSU TIGER "fan". Period.

They most assuredly want him out still. Maybe not as many because there are so many fair-weather fans but there are still people calling into WWL and saying we should still have Saban!?

I was reading an article about that:

I have always supported Coach Miles and still do so today, but I must admit the National Championship game bothers me. I am still not convinced he did not allow certain players to play for other than his own selfish or stupid reasons. Until someone can convince me otherwise that this was not the case, his behavior during the game will always bother me.

This is dumb. Miles thought JJ gae us the bet chance to win. In case you forgot JJ helped us beat Bama on Nov.5th while Jlee threw back to back picks. I'm sure you think JLee would've improved on his 1td/8int against Bama. To think a coach passes up winning a BCSCG because of "selfish reasons" is dumb.

Les has the same weaknesses now as he did then, he's stubborn, it's the reason we have only won one national championship in his 7 seasons. Make your own conclusions.

Holy shite. Yeah because LSU has always been a NATIONAL TITLE WINNING PROGRAM. you posters that think National Titles are a prerequisite for a successful season are very dumb.

Listen dickhead, I was probably a fan when you were still dribbling down your daddy's leg. I pay a shite pot of money to see that doofus frick games at Ole Miss, against Tennessee and do absolutely nothing in the MNC this year. So yea, just like Cholly Mac or Mac Brown or any of a number of coaches, he's a great coach and he has an impressive record, but I just can't seem to give him the unfettered pass that you apologetic superfans do. Not for $3+ million a year.

You're an idiot. Since les Miles was hired , NO TEAM HAS MORE SEC WINS , SEC WEST TITLES, SEC titles, LSU leads BCS conferences in wins. Get a clue

I respect Les, but his pigheadedness cost us the NC game. No way Bama was that much better than us after we beat them in t-town. That game was one of the best college FB games I ever saw!

BINGO!!! He should tell us WTF we all saw in Jan 12 and why that happened, and not shrug it off. He is a fine guy, coach, recruiter, etc... but if he worked for me he would have had to explain to the fan base who pays me to see a good product. If not a good enough excuse, he would have been canned.

Les Miles doesn't owe You ANYTHING , but a WINNING PROGRAM and he has given you that. Get over it.

He has been a weasel on too many occasions, will not accept the blame for mistakes that are unforgivable. Treated some of the players unfairly, and is stubborn beyond belief. Opinion of Miles has nothing to do with love for one's team and school. The Natl. Ch. is unforgettable and unforgivable.

I swear I hate our fan base. Some of you don't deserve a winning program. Yes Miles had just ushered in LSU's GREATEST SEC SEASON EVER.
