I know this is hard for some of you to believe, but Kling improved significantly throughout the second half of the year, including against SEC pitching

That’s not what I as told

Kramer was here all 4 years, and he was at least decent if not good his junior year.

I don’t think Pearson is a second baseman if you look at what is needed, ie: quick lateral movements, strong arm…. Love Pearson but not in the infield.

Correct. He struggled at the plate his first two years. His batting average jumped almost 100 points in his junior year I think.

It will be up to him and the staff. There are already spots we have to fill, so I doubt Jay tells him to move on, but he could decide to do that on his own. NIL could also play a role after a disappointing season, as he may get less and move down a peg to have a better shot to play and make as much or more than he will here next season.

I hope he comes back and improves at the plate, but we’ll see how it goes. He definitely has a lot of work to do.

Same was said of Kramer until his last year. Then magically he could hit.

It’s LSU fans. Act like no player can ever get better with hard work and more experience

My nephew from Pennsylvania who played summer ball with him and now plays at Auburn (and is entering the portal along with about an expected 15 other Auburn players) had much to say about this. Let's just say that Paxton and CJJ are not exactly bosom buddies. Don't expect him to stay around.

I feel for him but….

His mind may be too blown to be a good hitter
