I know some people here actually think Les Miles has the power to reinstate JJ, but luckily we have an athletic department that isn't his biggest fan club and actually cares about the school's PR.
The irony behind this whole situation -- is that a JL led team just beat a higher ranked team than any JJ led team did.

I doubt he'll ever play for us again.
He'll probably miss the whole season unless his charges get totally dropped and I doubt that happens.

What does that have to do with anything? He is either guilty or not guilty. Guilty of current charges, never to play for LSU again. Any other outcome, he will be back on the team.

irony, athletic depart. concerned about school PR. the football program(last 10 years) has created more positive PR for lsu than any academic dept. thus, if we want positive PR then jj will play and help us win a nc.
ps. in another couple of weeks it won't be a PR issue with the nat'l media if jj reinstated (assuming charges reduced to misdemeanor, as warranted)
