Does it bother you that Lange always staring down batters after a K?

I personally love that shite
I could see how some of you ole timers wouldn't like it though. What says the rant?

Has a slight tinge of unsportmanship to it but it's just what he does.

Not even slightly. I like it. Playing mental games is a pretty big part of baseball

Didn't stare down too many TCU batters....

Don't like. Need to act like "he's been there before." But that's just me
Posted on 3/11/17 at 8:46 am to Tshiz
I would prefer instead if he yelled: "Now sit down bytch!"

Yeah its bush... wanna be a pro start acting like one.. you're a starter not a drama queen closer. that said how'd he look last night I didn't catch the game.

Nolan Ryan should be his role model

If it helps him maintain his intensity then I don't have a huge issue with it. I probably would hate it if an opposing team's pitcher did it to LSU but I'm not about to become consistent in my thinking at this point in life.

Or he has family/friends that sit back behind the plate and is looking at them.

I have 0 problem provided he doesn't get upset when someone enjoys blasting a HR off him to much for his liking.

It was great last week when he stared down TCU's best hitter after the big K in the first inning.
The next time he faced him wasn't so funny.
Yes, I'm making a point and answering the OP.

You sound fun.
For the record, he was straight lights out last night.

It doesn't bother me. I like the fire. And most here will say they like it. But the same people will bitch when opposing players do it.

It obviously bothers some of you old coots judging by the downvotes

Lange always staring down
ETA: Watch the highlights from last night's game which includes every Lange strikeout. He only stared at one batter after a strikeout to end an inning. This is an example of another made up Rant myth that has become accepted as fact.

Maybe he should learn how to not shite on himself when he faces legit hitters on a legit team

Habit will quickly be fixed in MLB.

Yeah, but I'm a old get off my lawn guy who still wish sportsmanship mattered more.
But the bat flippers and look at Me'ers have taken over and it's never going back.
So I just try to appreciate those who still do embody the values I do, and there are still some...and try to live with the rest. I have no choice if I still want to watch my favorite teams and sports in general.
