The team didn’t quit. The offense was can’t throw deep so their defense simply had to stack the line and stop the short pass. The poor defense was out of gas. They were on the field the entire 2nd half. We better begin to be a threat with the deep pass or we can expect this type of game every weekend.

Arkansas, A&M, now FSU.
3 times the last 4 games they’ve lost focus for a considerable amount of time - quarter, half, or longer.

THAT’S concerning.
And that’s coaching.

The defense quit (or got gassed) when it became apparent that our offense wasn’t going to score….

So, No, I was not surprised nor do I blame them….for quitting

And if I was a wr at LSU….I’d refuse to dress out until a real pocket passer is put in the game (Nuss)…..why run your arse off if JD is just going to run up the middle…and if the middle is clogged he’s running to the sideline and hoping for a low percentage playground come back route….

Good defenses can (and have) shut down JD….the jig is up….

Brian Kelly showed up with the same game plan as ND and got validated because it worked year one. But everyone adjusted unlike they did in the past.. unlike others, I back him up to adjust. Denbrock and house can actually be pretty creative, they just weren’t because we thought we were better. I expect a renaissance, let’s get ready

I do it’s competitive sports you play 4 quarters, what happened with the defense is a coaching problem your team should never quit idc if the offense is stalling every time. Thats some loser mentality shite right there

I personally think it has more to do with the QB situation. If I’m on the team, I feel like the coaches are handicapping our chances of success by leaving Nuss on the sidelines.

Nuss is a better leader and should be leading the team. Ya he’s risky sometimes. But it’s a risk based on his belief in himself and his teammates. And that is contagious when he’s on the field.. look no further than the SEC championship. LSU looked defeated and deflated. They had given up. And then in comes Nuss and even with no real chance at coming back, the whole team came back to life.

Adjustments wouldn’t change getting your arse whipped by a better team.
