i'd like to hear his thoughts going forward. he got dealt a really rough hand this year, so despite the poor performance of the oline, I am not down on him.

I do expect improvement next year, but would sure like to hear what he might have to say, assuming it's not just coachspeak.

Dozens of coaches would've gotten better play out of the oline players we have.

we were injured early, but i don't think this excuse holds uo

Charles played 9 games and only missed Southeaster, La Tech and Ole Miss.
Deculus started 10 games at RT.
Cushenbery Started 12 games at Center
Lewis started 12 games at RG
Brumsfield played 8

we started off injured and ended the season just not very good.

I know we lost Ingram but didn't the coaches rave about Lewis all off season?

Like even if you think no one could have done better, or OL was bad, so idk how many people could have done much worse.

We don’t have any tackles on the team. That’s not his fault

You don’t find that telling when our coaching staff was giving the highest praise to a juco lineman who had never played major college football?

You have no idea what you're talking about.
Miles is one of the best Oline coaches in football.

For the vast majority of his time at lsu, we had one of the best olines in cfb.

I swear its like some posters on here didnt watch lsu football during the last regime and are basing their stances off of other Rant stances.

I find It telling that o constantly pumps his recruits tires

I find It more telling that neither Charles nor Brumsfield improved.

it was disappointing that we weren't any better at the end of the season.

the tackle position was really wanting.

still, I don't know how much to blame kregg for this year. I understand he was changing the blocking philosophy as well. If he can't get it done next year, though, we need to get a new oline coach.

Did you feel that way about Charles at the end of last season?

He seemed to regress this year.

We actually blocked better against Alabama lastbyear with 2 true freshmen on the OL.

We actually had a game plan of deception last year which means the D couldn’t just attack. They had to figure out where the bell was going first.

I’m pretty sure Moses was quoted saying they knew the plays this year based on formation.

Individually, that looks OK, but the OL and DL work as a unit.
I think we used 6th different configurations. Hard to fully judge the reason for the poor performance.
