Let me try to put it into perspective...
Lawrence only had as many 300+ yard games as Burrow had 400+ yard games... and that was against a weak schedule that only had 2 top 40 ranked defenses.
Cu only had about 5 or 6 players (we or rb) to catch for over 100byds in a game... not 5 or 6 different players to do it... but it only happened 5 or 6 times total.
So while lawrence can make throws, they just dont do it very often. I say Force CU to throw. Lawrence throws ints about twice as often as Burrow.

Remember when you thought Ohio state was good this year?
They are pretty good.
I mean, they dominated Clemson for most of the game and should’ve won going away.
If that’s LSU playing instead, we convert at least 1 or 2 of those red zone trips. The 4 extra points from one TD (instead of a FG) would have allowed them to kick a game-winning FG as time expired instead of having to throw in the middle of the field in the end zone.
They convert 2 or more trips, Clemson likely never even mounts a comeback. 24-0 is a lot more debilitating than 16-0.

I will take LSUs wrs over Clemsons. Their wrs are good though, LSUs are just elite.

Clemson has 5 wide receivers 6'4" or taller.
Higgins
Ross
Overton
Ladson
Ngata
We don't have any blazing speed in that group, but Amari Rodgers is quick and surprisingly fast. He looks like C E-H playing slot receiver. He also returns punts. Great story - as he had ACL surgery in late March and played in late September.
Etienne has really improved his catching ability out of the backfield.
We have an uphill battle - playing the Number 1 team in the nation at your "place". We met the challenge of a Number 1 undefeated Alabama in 2017 and 2019.
We'll show up and play.
I expect a score similar to our first game against Alabama in Arizona - 45-41. I just hope we are on the right side this time.

Both of our corners are great at covering boundary routes. Fulton is competitive on inside routes, too, but Stingley is not (don't freak out about that [true] statement -- it is not a knock on Stingley as he is still developing a complete game). Vincent is hot/cold, as everybody knows. He'll win one play and then get absolutely burned on the next. Delpit and Hampton can cover. Stevens really shouldn't be matched up with a WR at all.
If Clemson is smart, they will attack the middle of the field with Higgins and Ross, rather than the sideline. This would be a departure from what they've done all year. They should target Stingley on inside slants and crossing routes, and they should target Vincent and Stevens in the slot. If they resort to heaving the ball down the sidelines, which is what they have done all year, they are playing to our strength. Those are 50-50 balls and our guys have proven more than capable of winning those battles.
Wow! Excellent post, and spot on! Stingley is good, but he’s not yet a complete cover corner like Fulton. Stevens on a receiver is a mismatch. He’s more of a hybrid LB. Delpit’s coverage ability is our ace in the hole.

The real question is how deep does your coverage go if we line up in 5 wide or empty backfield?
Coverage...we will be good. The issue is when Lawrence takes off. I feel that our linebackers are more athletic that tOSU's, but the linebackers for the Buckeyes seem to be more disciplined. In short, if our linebackers are in a position to make plays, they will get the job done. If not, Trevor Lawrence could house one or two (he is pretty damned athletic). On the flip side, Queen is an athletic freak who hits harder than anybody Lawrence has seen all year. If the game plan is to run Lawrence, he may not finish the game.
