I was cruising around Florida baseball message boards looking for info from their side for this weekend and I came accross this gem of a quote from a gator fan who was in Omaha last year.

quote:

what pissed me off last year in omaha - really ticked me off - was seeing LSU's 'cheerleader dude' - i call him chris ettoufee - leading the stinkin' cheers for the bruin fans. frickin' traitor to the conference!

Is this really true? And if so, why would he be leading the cheers for not only a team who was playing against another SEC school, but also the same team that already beat us in the regionals last year? Just thought this was strange and that the board could have a field day with this one haha.

I'm pretty sure he didn't even wait to leave LA to start cheering for UCLA.

If there's attention to be gotten, Guillot will be there. I'm surprised the K "Lady" wasn't as well.

all of you douchebags calling him an attention whore are being extremely hypocritical imo. Starting a thread to bitch about a random arse guy is bringing lots of attention to yourself. gtfo it. He has payed for season tickets longer than some of you have been alive, the man can do what ever the frick he wants. I guess the organist is a dumbass attention whore as well, fire him now! Fire the bat girls for getting attention when they catch a ball or miss one!

yall act like little girls...and really honestly are probably jealous of him.

Yea I witnessed him cheerleading the UCLA players family section last year. Most of them weren't impressed...

Chris is an LSU fan not an SEC fan. If LSU isn't there he can cheer for whoever he wants. I for one don't cheer for SEC schools at all. Sounds like a butthurt Florida fan cant deal with losing.

Plenty of people have had season tickets as long as him and don't act like that. Its people like you that give him his sense of entitlement. "He can do whatever he wants". I'd rather sit next to the bird guy.

Its pretty gay to lead cheers for another school that you have no ties to. I agree he has the right to do what he wants, doesnt make it any less homo.

I've never met the guy personally and honestly I don't give a shite what he does at the games. He payed for his ticket which gives him the right to cheer for his team. I'd like to think I could do the same thing if I feel like it. I think some of it is a little over the top personally, but I'm not going to get butthurt about it and go post threads about a single man who means absolutely nothing to me. I'd much rather Chris than some drunk arse 40 year old loser screaming curse words in front of kids to the right fielder.

I know him and he's a great guy. Just a bunch of butthurt fans in here who are mad that he dared cheer for a team after they beat LSU. How dare he?? Seriously some of the people in here sound like 12 year olds who just broke up with their girlfriend. Dude has tickets and can do what ever the frick he wants, which is a lot better than being slap arse drunk and cursing the whole game.

I just thought it was funny and it was funny how even other fans in the SEC know who the guy is now and talk about him on message boards. I could care less if he did it or not. your free to make up a thread of your own, nobodies stopping you internet tough guy.

the K "Lady"

i know that this is really germans, and not really important to this topic but i have to get it off my chest. for the miss valley game i got tickets in the club level above the dugout, almost directly down from where the k thing sits. my tickets are down the rf line so i have never really noticed what a lot of you talk about until that night. the "strike out....strike him out" chant think it does with 2 strikes blew my mind. i had to actually turn around and watch it do it to believe that it was actually it that was doing it. everytime that i am at a baseball game now and the batter has 2 strikes, i cringe a little bit thinking about having to hear that. i feel a lot better after getting this off my chest. thank you.

Try walking up to random sections during the game and yelling at them to cheer. Might not go over so well for the average season ticket holder.

says the man who started a thread to pick on someone else. What's funny is most of the people that start these threads have every opportunity to say something to him personally while at the games...but as always, fail to do so. They wait to come home and get on Tigerdroppings to get theirs.
