472 rushes compared to 306 pass attempts. So 60% of the time we ran the ball.

We had 1 RB with over 1200 yards, 1 with over 600, and 2 with over 300.

He purchased a "mow down" house in Bocage Subdivision, demolished it, and is building a new home on the lot at this time. Based on that information, I would say that he is going to be around for awhile.

what has he done? yeah he made our qb and wrs look good, but he had to halfs where he only scored 3 points.

LSU 2012 2013
Rushing 50th 35th
Passing 92nd 33rd
Total 85th 26th
Scoring 58th 21st

I'd say that's an improvement

I know he has been good for the offense just by the total yards and points we put up. but those stats posted are really very impressive and serve to quantitate just how good he has beeen as OC.

Probably bc Les wouldn't let him do what he wanted

Should have listened to Lester at OM and ran it 50 times instead of growing it up for grabs on 1rst and 10.......

it's not like CC led the Tigers to a NC game. we were one loss from going .500 in conference.

Exactly. Our offense has been downright offensive. Our passing offense the year before was 106th. Total offense 86th. And we went undefeated regular season.

He coaches the defense too?

The Rantardism is strong in this thread.

Has everyone forgotten how utterly inept our offense was for the last few years before Cam came here? He has done a remarkable job. Mett made great strides under Cam's tutelage in one season, and the offense is far more productive than in previous years. "What has he done?" You serious, Clark?

The offense won us a lot of games this year. Without Cameron, this season would have been really rough.

I'm amazed that someone can't see the turnaround the offense has made. Apparently if you aren't in the National Championship game then your offense is nothing special. I guess Baylor, Texas A&m, Oregon aren't really impressive.

Might have something to do with the fall of our defense.

We went from 12th in scoring defense to 32nd. 9th in rushing defense to 44th.

God damn. Everyone was begging for even a mediocre offense before this year. Cam comes in and makes it above average in one season. He did way more than we ever could have hoped. If you people aren't trolling, y'all are some kind of fricking stupid.

Absolutely right. There's nothing negative to say about this hire. What a plus for a QB recruit to play for this guy for three or four years.

This. It's pretty mind-boggling to be honest.

Lets just hope no one offers him a HC job this year. We need him one more year.
Maybe the better question is who stays longer Cam or Little Nicky?

no shite

our offense improved in almost every single category

we want him here for a long time. He's good friends with Les and he had to have turned down NFL offers to get here. He's not going anywhere for a couple years at least.

You really should just stop. I will let someone else point out the majority of running plays versus pass..the increase in the back out of the backfield. We have exceeded our rushing total over last year and haven't played a bowl game, and our backs have probably similar yardage receiving as the total from last year as well. The year when everyone thought we never threw it.

Not only that, we started seeing an evolution of plays toward the end of the year, we were not nearly as predictable with our formations.

I don't really know what else anyone could want.

We limited interceptions, I don't know where fumbles lie. We protected the QB better. We almost eliminated drops. shite, there is basically not one aspect of offense that wasn't noticeably improved.

And I will add this, I didn't really love the hire. So if I can see it, who can not.
