this is saban's 3rd year

and in his 2nd and 3rd, he's running into perhaps the best 2-year program run in the past 10 years

You're not emotional tied to Saban? How many times have you masterbuted to him today alone?

That you don't know that destroys any ounce of credibility you have

we had no depth at all combined with a culture of losing over the course of two years.

Not winning the SEC, and losing to Utah in a bowl game goes up there with one of the best years in the last 10 years to you? Delusional.

Bama will never be that far ahead of LSU, if ahead at all, consistently

and FL will drop down onto that level once Tebow leaves, thats what I believe.

not at all

he's our former coach, who is much better than our current coach. he's the best coach in the SEC West, which is our divisoin. he's the best or 2nd best coach in the SEC, which is our conference

what does this mean?

You think a 50 yr old Saban coaching Bama over a 10 year period would be more successful than LSU coached by Saban over this same time period?

well it's easier to accept that UF < LSU for 2 reasons

1. They're in the East
2. They're in Florida

based on pure population and talent produced, LA can't be expected to compete with Fl

you are soo full of shite. Please stop. We had little depth, and a culture of losing that Saban had to break the cycle of. He had to totally revamp the place even with changing the pictures in the Lawton room. Its easy to turn it around at LSU b/c of our Ohio State type situation with respect to recruiting. He also had less administrative support(beg for separate facilities and revamp the West side)) with respect to certain things than Miles has today.

If Saban did that again (lose to UF in the SEC-CG and then the bowl game), just go ahead and put a sweater vest on him!

I think a great coach has more potential at LSU right now.

Of course that makes the 5 losses last year and all the signs pointing to mediocrity even more alarming right now. The fact that it is all in place RIGHT NOW and we are pissing it away.

To early to say he is the best in the west however it sure looks like it. We all know where you are coming from. What is your solution fire a coach that brought you a championship or that is currently 5-1? I know 2008 happened can we get 09 behind us before his seat gets hot. Hell if the offense continues to struggle the rest of the year I'll also want his head but lets wait to see what he does to solve the problems.

national prominence/publicity and a more populous state

LSU is going to be in trouble if mack ever decides to start recruiting (esp Houston) again
