stop comparing their stats at LSU

Saban built LSU

Miles took the keys to a loaded team

Saban took the keys to a loaded team just like Miles did. Did you follow recruiting in the 90's?

SFP, please tell me, what has Saban done at Bama?

2007 = Saban goes 7-6, loses to ULM then makes fun of the 9/11 terrorist attack after the loss

2008 = Doesn't win the SEC, loses to Utah in the SEC's own back yard, New Orleans

Please, please don't give me the 12-0 BS, close only counts in Horseshoes and hand grenades baby.

2009 has yet to be written, ask South Florida and Cal about being ranked 2 this time of the year!

Fixed. Saban got keys to a pacer. This argument is so weak on the coolaid drinkers side. Pretty soon they cannot even us that as long as Lil Nicky is at bama.

they went undefeated last year in the regular season. when was the last time LSU did that?

so based upon what i'm reading in this thread, you would have rather gone undefeated in regular season than "slide" into the national championship and win the game?

It was like a cloud you see building.

I still want to deny it, but come on, it is starting to rain.

$abun = gooddefensive college coach maybe the best right now but far from perfect HC. He has shortcomings, no pun intended.

Bama has been a national program for years and years, just like UF

True. But with two national titles in the 2000's, LSU is now a national program.

For example, this article list the top four programs in the NCAA as USC, Florida, LSU, and Texas. Where is your precious Bama, SFP? You sound like the hysterical Bama fan crying in the comments below the article.

no

but UF was simply better than Bama last year. most of that was due to talent differential

how many teams has LSU lost to the past few years who were close to as talented as LSU under miles? UF last year. UGA last year. UF in 2006. maybe Ole Miss last year.

That you don't know that destroys any ounce of credibility you have.

Go pull for fricking Alabama then. shite.

you should be shopping for us a new OC, instead of complaining about us not being of national importance... seeing as our recruiting class was rated #1 last year and all..

Saban's publicity coming out of the NFL, you think helped him none in jump starting that rebulding process?

under Saban and Miles, LSU gained some national prominence, but we're #3 in the SEC in terms of national programs

which is like being #3 in the nation.
But it still isn't #1

that "article" is a blog entry that is 1 paragraph long, and it isn't about national prominence

and it lies anyway, read it and see the incorrect statement.

If Saban and Miles switched places TODAY, Saban could win out and find a way to beat Florida. Miles will lose to Bama and either Ole Miss or Arky and finish 9-3. Good, but not great based on the talent.

How can I prove this? I can't. But every over the top reaction and the hate towards Saban simply tells me how great you thought he was. Would we hate DiNardo if he left to coach Notre Dame.
