monsterballads' simple well documented facts spell it out.

Mauk and Flynn were not world beaters, but they were good enough to run the system. Our non running non passing dual threat quarterbacks have me scratching my head.

Mett was fighting Schembechler for the right use of the personnel. I see Beckham is pretty good as a receiver in the NFL, but we couldn't use him that well. Kid dropped a round because of the scheme and coach.

Ricky Town's reps were in town during the Sugar Bowl, the deal on the table at the hotel where the LSU folks met was 2 years to play, needed a house in CC of LA and a $17mm Lloyds policy paid. Guaranteed start - going pro after two years. Obviously that wasn't going to happen.

Our only QB prospect getting chased is on page three of Rivals.com as a "dual threat". Great. No QB wants to come to the Cleveland Browns of quarter back colleges. In other words, don't expect any help anytime soon unless Braxton falls out of Urban's Buckeye tree, down the Ohio River and floats down to Istrouma town for a one year stint. I am amazed we get the wide outs we do with Jennings and Harris expected to have a spirited competition to start. Really? How sad to have the SEC's worst passing game and, what's worse is to have idiots defend it or break out the Negatiger label. 8-0, 6-2, 5-3, 4-4, that's a trend, and in the wrong direction. Cameron coaches pro style drop back qbs, not "dual threat" sand-loters that don't progress between week one and week 13. He's parking it here until he retires. As if spring is going to have some transformative effect on our QBs, whereas the entire season didn't. Cue the metamorphasis sports write ups occurring over spring. Reality is it's going to be a another year in the middle of the second tier with 14-20 passing attempts per game. I'd like to see Harris put on 15 lbs and develop into the no. 1 qb. I mean, the bar IS pretty low for him, isn't it? If he can't beat out Jennings, then you know it's bad.

,Refs did not change 2012 (either game) outcome, this was all on coaching staff, or 2013, 2014 for that matter.

more palatable?
No, why would it? Bama beat LSU for the 3rd or 4th straight time.

Not in 10,000 years.
Not getting the best out of players is what affects my opinion of CLM.
Looking forward to next year

No just verifies the point that Saban with an average team still beats Miles.

Bama was very average this year.

They didn't deserve beating us, more less a top 4 ranking.

Really? How so? LSU couldn't stop them with just 50 seconds left.

None of Saban's losses were as embarrassing as 3 of Miles' this year alone.

I sure hope there is some qualifier to the time frame for Saban's losses. Otherwise, UAB and ULM say hello.

And I'd add that losing to Ole Miss this year was pretty embarrassing for Bama. Hell, even we didn't do that.

Yes.

Does Bama's season ending loss make this 8-5 year a bit more palatable?

No.

I mean, if Ohio State can beat Alabama, why can't Miles?

No. 1/9/12 is the answer and it will be the answer for as long as he is at LSU.
